Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Online Tutor at BingoKids. The Online Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one instruction to students in various subjects, using various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. The Online Tutor will work on a fixed schedule and use online tools to deliver classes to learners in China.
Requirements
- 120 Hour TEFL certificate
- a computer, 1080p or HD webcam, and headphones
- a stable internet connection
- a power backup system in case of loadshedding
- experience in ESL teaching
- experience with classin will be a bonus
This role is open for candidates with a neutral and native English accent. Candidates should be responsible, positive, and creative. Candidates should be willing to work weekends and be available to teach 50 classes a week. Training will be provided on the platform used. Classin is the teaching platform. Prior experience with the platform will be advantageous.
We offer:
30 rmb per 25 minute class (R75 per class depending on the exchange rate)
a 5 rmb bonus per class if the teacher completes 100 classes or more in a month after the first month which will be a probation period.
Salaries are paid into your SA bank account.
Salaries are calculated weekly and paid monthly.
Salaries are thus calculated over a span of either 4 or 5 weeks depending on the length of the month.
Salaries are paid before the 10th of the following month.
A transfer fee is deducted from your salary as the money is transferred from China.
