Homebased Online ESL Teacher

Responsibilities

• Conduct English language trial lessons to potential students in a professional and effective manner
• Create an energetic and engaging class atmosphere to spark student interest in learning English
• Quickly assess the student’s English proficiency level and customize lessons to meet their needs and learning objectives
• Successfully lead students who are new to learning English, including those who are starting from zero level
• Provide constructive feedback and regular progress reports to students to help them improve their English skills
• Collaborate and communicate with other relevant teams to ensure smooth and effective lesson processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, linguistics, education, communication, psychology, or any related field
• Atleast 6 months of online ESL experience
• Has an experience teaching children between the ages of 6 and 12 and adults
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Minimum of 1-year experience of teaching children between the ages of 6 and 12
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clear and accurate pronunciation and intonation, with diction unaffected by the first language
  • Certification relevant to ESL teaching (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, TESL, DELTA etc.)
  • Experience in delivering online English lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Ability to use TPR and props (puppets, stickers, etc.) during the class.
